Independent Distilling Company has been making rum in Decatur, Georgia since 2014. These are the rums they’re currently producing:
Independent White Rum, a double pot-distilled, Grade A molasses-based rum that’s bottled unaged at 80 proof.
Independent Barrel Aged Rum, a version of the base used in their White Rum that’s aged in both new charred American white oak barrels and used bourbon barrels. Each batch is blended from barrels that have aged between 18 months and four years and bottled at 85 proof.
