District Distilling Company
District Distilling Company has been making rum in Washington, D.C. since 2012. These are the rums they’re currently producing:
Buzzard Point Colonial Style White Rum, a pot-distilled, panela sugar (evaporated cane juice)-based rum that’s fermented with a yeast strain from the British Isles and bottled unaged at 92 proof.
Buzzard Point Barrel Aged Rum, a version of the base used in their White Rum that’s aged in the distillery’s own used bourbon barrels for 20 months and bottled at 88 proof.
