Drum Circle Distilling has been making rum in Sarasota, Florida since 2007. These are the rums they’re currently producing:
Siesta Key Gold Rum, a pot-distilled, Florida molasses-based rum that’s aged in used bourbon barrels. The most recent batch is a blend of three- to eight-year-old rums that spent an additional eight months aging in used port wine barrels. It’s bottled at 80 proof with no sweeteners or coloring agents added.
Siesta Key Silver Rum, a column-distilled, Florida molasses based rum that’s bottled unaged at 80 proof.
Siesta Key Spiced Rum, a version of their Silver Rum that’s infused with natural spices and added honey for sweetness and flavor. Bottled at 70 proof.
Siesta Key Beer Barrel Spiced Rum, a version of their Spiced Rum that’s aged in a variety of used beer barrels and released in limited batches.
Siesta Key Distiller’s Reserve Spiced Rum, a version of their Spiced Rum that’s aged with the solera method in charred oak barrels and released in limited batches. Bottled at 80 proof.
Siesta Key Toasted Coconut Rum, a version of their Silver Rum that’s infused with real toasted coconut and natural spices. Honey is added before it’s bottled at 70 proof.
