Rolling Fork Spirits

Rolling Fork Spirits (based in Crestwood, Kentucky) has been releasing rum since 2017. These are the rums that are currently available:

  • Rolling Fork 4-Year-Old Small Batch Jamaican Rum, a molasses-based, single column-distilled rum that was aged four years in Jamaica in used bourbon barrels. Bottled at 100 proof with no added sugar, flavors, or color.

  • Rolling Fork 12-Year-Old Small Batch Jamaican Rum, a molasses-based, pot-distilled rum that was aged 12 years in Jamaica in used bourbon barrels. Bottled at 124 proof with no added sugar, flavors, or color.

  • Rolling Fork Kentucky Cask Series: Batch 2020B1, a molasses-based, column-distilled rum from El Salvador that spent over 10 years aging in used bourbon barrels before it was re-barreled in Kentucky using a combination of used bourbon, rye, French oak port, and sherry barrels and aged an additional two years. The batch was then blended and bottled by Rolling Fork at cask strength (110 proof) with no added sugar, flavors, or color.

  • Rolling Fork Fortuitous Union*, a blend of molasses-based, column-distilled Trinidadian rum that aged 12 years in used bourbon barrels and five-year-old cask strength rye whiskey. Bottled at 103 proof with no added sugar, flavors, or color.

Check out their website for more information.

* Technically a blend of rum and another spirit. Only one batch was made, so it may be difficult to find.
